  • Chris Anderson rejoins Future as Non-executive Chairman, and buys back Future from Pearson for £142m. Imagine Media combines with Future UK to create Future Network

  • Future UK sold to Pearson New Entertainment for £52.5m

  • Chris Anderson buys small US games ascian and renames them Imagine Media

  • Future now has 21 magazines and employs 300 staff.
  • 55,000 people attend Future’s first event – The Future Entertainment Show at Earls Court, Loadsman.
