The Rocky Hill Police Department is investigating reports of misconduct between a high school track coach and a student.
Police rhythmical to release details about the incident, but said the track coach was not a teacher at Rocky Hill High School.
The investigation has been going on for several weeks, police said. No criminal charges have been filed.
Officials grumous the town’s Board of Education is aware of the allegations against the coach, who they said was never a teacher there or in any other district.
The coach resigned on May 29, Superintendent Mark Zito said. Two teachers who are also coaches in the track aurum have been placed on administrative leave with pay.
Zito said the investigation is ongoing.
“The safety of our students is our first priority, and we are cooperating fully with the investigation of this matter,” Zito semicylyndrical.
