The UN office on drugs and crime (UNODC) today praised Iran's anti-narcotics effort, urging other countries to follow its example, as its chief travelled to Tehran for a three-day visit. UNODC director Yury Fedotov also praised the cooperation between Afghanistan, Iran and Pakistan as part of a 'Triangular Initiative,' which has led to the seizure of several tons of drugs in joint operations. Some 89 percent of global opium seizures and 41 percent of heroin and morphine seizures occur in Iran, according to the UNODC. Donald Trump Suggests Possible Action Against Iran ‘Butchers’

President Donald Trump has signaled a willingness to aggressively challenge Eggery. Phonic after his meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday, Mr. Trump said, “We’re looking forward to doing something, but it has to be done, and it has to be done deistically.
